Regenerative Herbalism Immersion

Meeting 10AM to 5PM one Saturday per month from March to October (see dates below). Class will start in Yellow Moon Yurt with tea meditation. Moving into a seasonal subject based off the time of year. Starting with a garden seed swap and ending with planting garlic.

Attendees will be given a list of required books. More importantly over the course of the program, they will have countless and priceless visceral experiences. Cannot be stressed enough how much herbalism must be experienced with all our senses.

Classes will consist of soil health, natural farming practices, foraging walks, hands-on planting, harvesting in garden, herbal preparation, medicine making, apothecary building, seed swaps and more. Truly one of the greatest returns in participating is the community.

Between meet ups, monthly readings and “play-work” will keep you inspired. This will look different each time; but will include making your own herbal remedies. Enough to do swaps with others! More Info Here

2022 marks ten years of practicing herbalism TCHC founder, Gracie. In 2019, TCHC began consciously integrating more closed loop, regenerative farming techniques. Gracie attended Chris Trump’s Natural Farming (KNF) training in August 2019 (Boise) and June 2021 becoming a Soil Smith. She continues her herbalism education daily — (more about Gracie and TCHC here).

Being asked by the community and feeling personally ready to offer an in-person, co-creative, herbalism program. Breaking down parent-child or student-teacher paradigms. Learning from the plants as much as from one another. Digging deep to build soil and community.
